Worship Together in
The Parish of Whitby with Ruswarp

About Our Parish

A Welcoming Christian Congregation in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

We are a Church of England Parish seeking to love and serve the people of our town and its visitors, through our shared faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has reconciled to Himself all those who put their trust in His Son, thereby opening the gate to eternal life with Him in complete joy, peace and harmony. Not only this, but by the transforming power of His Holy Spirit, God fills us with a hope, peace and joy in this life, which prevails and endures throughout all of life's trials.
Christ established His Church, for the glory of God and for our blessing, strengthening and upbuilding. We worship Him together to express our love, adoration and gratitude for all that God has done, continues to do today, and promises to do in the future. It is our heartfelt longing and joy to share the message of the Gospel, that others may also come to know, love and serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Whether you have been a Christian for as long as you can remember, or you've never picked up a Bible in your life and would like to find out what it means to be a Christian, we would love to hear from you and you will be warmly welcomed to any of our services.
